Sunday, January 28, 2007 yawns. been sewing all day for the past two days. so tired. and since they changed the criterial, all our garment produced must be at least "a Calvin Klein stardard". and its still five garments in 7 weeks. anyw, haute couture is out for this season. below are some of my favs. enjoy ! Wednesday, January 17, 2007 i'm so sleepy at twelve. i dunno how am i so gonna survive this sem with this whole issue of sleepyness. i so cannot work at night these days. hope its just the weather. i'm really freezing at night. yup, i'm still in singapore. what a joke. i just so hate cold weather. its not very fun when those chilly pain travels thru ur bones. ewwk. drawing class tmr at 9am. and yes i finished my assignment. way before 9.30. that's so miracle. hah. communism. that's gonna be my concept for design studio, namely the white collection. its getting tougher, looking for a theme/concept. i mean a more creative one after all my previous's. from masquerade to the persistence of memory to Freud's philosophy of id, ego and superego ( for the gas competition). i know i'm going crazier. so i've try period of the arts, ideology and now history(with a bit of ideology and politics in it). its so fun doing research, i think that's the best part of the whole course. its not just designing garments/ sewing garments/ studying textile, or whatever ppl think that what fashion students are doing. its abt getting more knowledge, and learning to have opinions thus convert it into ur own design and in a way pointing out issue that often get neglected in life. generally, i love to research on human issue and social issue and the contradictive of human's nature. its just so interesting. come to think of it, i misses studying history. maybe that's the reason why i love to do research. in a way, i'm learning and reading more abt history, in another, i dun have to sit for exam. spare me pls. i'm so awefully glad that i dun have to study and sit for exam for the rest of my life. well, i'm not that sleepy after all these. but i still decide to have an early night. gd night. {12:00:00 am}

Saturday, January 13, 2007 i'm bored when i have tons of work not done. apparently, i'm in a post holiday mood. hah. well, sch had started for a week and everything went smoothly.... i guess its gonna be more fun this sem, and more work. for production methods, that's gonna be 5 garments in 7 weeks. for design studio, there's a white collection going on(and we have to produce an actual outfit at the end of the sem). for drawing class, there's group work for some wacky outfit thingy, meaning we can use plastic, paper whatever to do the garment, plus we can do head pieces, bags, shoes on top of the outfit, and! haute couture too! we're doing a haute couture collection! that's so exciting! plus tons of experimenting with textile in textile design. on top of all these, there's still competition... which they will brief us next week. sucha busy sem ahead. and dear had just started his diploma in sales and marketing too. which means we will have less time tgt. :(( {3:21:00 pm}

Thursday, January 04, 2007 hello world, my first post of 2007. okay, i know i'm slow... just too lazy to start it off i guess. aww. just finished pampering my face with a delicious session in an apple scented mask... that's not the point, but anyw, the point is, i have to list out a resolution for 2007. duh. its so boring. i want to maintain my good skin(hah.), get rid of my dark circles and eye bags ! (if possibble), excel in my design work, be one of the top designer in fios, become prettier and prettier, maintain my youth look (i'm just so happy that ppl are guessing i'm age 16 these days. :P), sleep more, spend less, excerise more, shed off those eewky fats, look healthier, spend more time with dear, spend more time with besties, hopefully can fly out of town( Paris !, if not hong kong's not bad too), hopefully i can get cleaner and more organised somehow (just so to stop my mum from yelling at me), win competitions, to make myself known in the fashion world. yep. i guess i'm kindda done. it ended up nothing near interesting. yawns. well, i'm starting sch next monday. its kindda exciting. cos we're having new subjects; textile studies and textile design. our design studio's lecturer might be nic wong and our production method's lecturer will be Tang ! i'm so glad that Lasalle have lecturers that are famous designers (at least consider famous in singapore). lalalalalala. i'm going to draft my new skirt now.
